In April of 2025, 805 Productions presented Playback Jukebox, a dynamic pop-rock trio based in Los Angeles, California, bringing their performances to small towns and cities in Alberta, including Cold Lake, Lloydminster, and Wetaskiwin.
Known for their energetic live performances, PlayBack Jukebox blends live instrumentation, looping, and strong vocal delivery to create a full, engaging sound. The group comprises Paco Arespacochaga (drums and loops), Benjie Collantes (vocals), and Jj Buencamino (keyboards and loops), working alongside Luigi Dizon (technical director) and Patrick Almonia (recording bassist and sound engineer). Together, they share a clear intention: to deliver music that feels both well-executed and meaningful in a live setting.
Their set moves across familiar songs and original releases, including Time and Love, Upside Down, and Can’t Take My Eyes Off You, offering a balance of nostalgia and contemporary sound.
This event was especially meaningful to us, as it intentionally focused on reaching smaller towns and cities. By bringing Playback Jukebox to communities that don’t often experience live performances of this kind, we aimed to create a space where people could gather, connect, and enjoy live music in a more accessible way.
The night felt almost unreal, as people from different walks of life stepped away from their busy lives and came together in a way that felt simple, yet meaningful.
Even on a smaller scale, events like this remind us how contagious joy can be.

Today, 805 continues to keep in close contact with Playback Jukebox. Each time we connect, we find ourselves learning something new, reminding us that the best connections are the ones that help us grow, and so we will always be grateful for the relationships built through this experience.
